ZIFA Northern Region Division One League side, SIMBA Bhora, have beaten several Castle Lager Premiership teams to land CAPS United’s ‘keeper Simbarashe Chinani.

Chinani confirmed the developments to H-Metro.

This means that out of the three players, who were deemed as black sheeps and shown the exit by Makepekepe, following a revolt which led to a 0-2 defeat against Cranborne Bullets in Week 13, Denis Dauda is the only player left to make a move.

Clive Augusto was the first out of the gate as he rejoined Chicken Inn.

Chinani said he is ready to deliver what is expected from him.

“I’m very happy to be part of the Simba Bhora family, it’s a great project,” said Chinani.

“They are making good strides in everything and, more importantly, they have enough experience and quality to win the championship.

“I think I will adapt quickly and with ease since I have played with most of the players who are at this club.

“I’m looking forward to making a mark at this club and the primary objective is to help the team to get where it needs to be.”

He said a special place will forever be reserved in his heart for CAPS United despite a premature end of his tenure.

“I will not point any fingers to anyone, what was said is absolutely the opposite,” he said.

“I have always given my hundred percent to CAPS United, it’s unfortunate that things turned out this way but life goes on.

“Maybe, someone wanted me out for unknown reasons but I will forever be grateful to him (club president, Farai Jere) for accepting me at the club in the first place.

“I strongly believed he was given wrong information about the whole thing.

‘’CAPS will, forever, have a special place in my heart and I want to thank everyone who made me feel at home during my time there, especially the fans.”

The Shamva side have also reunited with seasoned midfieder, Raphael Manuvire.

Meanwhile, Dynamos are leading the chase to sign Ronald Chitiyo, who is believed to have asked to be released by the Green Machine.

Simba Bhora are also interested in the diminutive midfielder.
